Sekiu Rocks!
Some of you may know that I'm writing stories for the Forks Forum that focus on our community. I'm planning to do a story at some point about the Sekiu Rock. It would be great to include a variety of stories from NW Coast folks that have to do with this local icon. If you have a story, why don't you send it here, so we can all enjoy it. My best memory of the rock - so far - was right after 9/11. It was wonderful to bring flowers to the rock and feel that our community was sharing our grief and determination. Denise, I've been coming to Sekiu for 51 years now..without a miss....Where is the Sekui rock...?? Up at the turn off that drops you down into town? Anyway, nice to read and comment on a place so dear to my heart. I love Sekiu...
