Donna, my husband Chuck and I have had the same experience; it's always tough on everyone. It sounds as if you've got a good plan; don't hesitate to write if the going gets rough. Those of us who have loved and lost an animal will be able to tell you all the things you already know, but might need to hear again. Hey to Spuds!
